This is an annual event in held in North Vancouver at Saint Piux X catholic church gymnasium 1150 Mt. Seymour Road

An all day event, locally raised fish and plants, used aquarium equipment,

  • Everyone is welcome, sellers are required to preregister and receive your auction #.  Please email  [email protected]
  • Seller Registration closes October, 21, 2017. No on day Seller registration due to time limitations.
  • You can download the registration form from the website at events and auctions.
  • Registration starts at 8:30, auction starts at 10:00. 
  • Please note we are not using membership #s at the auction this year, so please register and receive your sellers number.
  • Note this year there is only one registration form for buyers or sellers.
  • Check events and Auctions on this website for rules and forms.
  • Please recycle your old lighting fixtures at your recycling center, changes in technology has changed lighting to LED which are much more cost effective.

The next meeting is the Annual Spring Auction which will be April 29th, 2017 at ST. Pius X church in North Vancouver.  

Doors open at 8:00 am for registration, auction starts at 10:00 am. Contact [email protected] or [email protected] for more info.    

This is one of two large auctions held by the Vancouver Aquatic Hobbyist Society. Fish, plants, Equipment, and other related items to the Aquarium hobby will be auctioned off. Sellers are required to register before the auction, the auction is open to all hobbyists. VAHS continue to support Project Piaba with some proceeds from our auctions. Please check the website page “Events and Auction” for more information and downloading of the buyer seller forms.

March 14th, 2017 will be the next meeting of the Vancouver Aquatic Hobbyist Society at the Bonsor community center in Burnaby at 7:30 pm. This meeting will be an Annual General Meeting due to the December meeting being cancelled.

ANNUAL MONSTER AUCTION

This is an annual event in November held in North Vancouver at Saint Piux X catholic church gymnasium 1150 Mt. Seymour Road

An all day event, locally raised fish and plants, used aquarium equipment, Everyone is welcome, sellers are required to preregister

You can download the sellers form from the website at events and auctions.

Registration starts at 8:30, auction starts at 10:00.

Please email [email protected] for more info or to register please include your name and membership number.

Please note rules for the auction regarding equipment.

The VAHS assumes no lilability or responsibility for items in the auction. It is the purchasers responsibility to inspect the items before bidding.
  • Sellers must bring a completed sellers form with them to the auction.
  • Buyers, please bring a completed buyers form.
  • Forms are available at the auction. If you are selling then you do not need a buyers form.
All equipment must be labelled as working and have the sellers name and number attached. Anything not labelled as such will be sold as parts only.
All fish and plants must be in fish bags, please ensure that there is enough air in the bag.

Auction will start at 10:00 Doors open at 8:00. Set up will start at 7:30 if you would like to help out with chairs and tables. Auction is  Aquarium related Plants, fish, equipment.
